Words of Thanks from The Team

To all fans of MLB,

Firstly, i would like to thank all supporters and friends of MLB, and also other artistes who've kindly consented to help us in completing this project. It's been tiring and difficult coordinating and finishing this project, but we made it through! :) I'm truly grateful to all who've helped us in one way or another. Sincere thank you goes out to all of you out there! And also my team mates, Mui Ling, Peg and Yuanping. It's been great working on this project with them. :D

Wells, how did the idea for this project come about? The idea came as both me and peg were interested in preparing a gift for MLB, to congratulate them on the launch of their debut album. Thus, we had some discussion and felt that a book of well wishes for the boys would be appropriate. However, this project was to be kept a secret, meant to be surprise for MLB. This discussion was held somewhere in mid may, but we could not do an estimation of time to complete the gift as we did not know when the album [then EP] would be out. After that, we decided that we should gather a few more people to work with us on this, so we approached a few, and thankfully Mui Ling and Yuanping agreed in the end.

Thereafter, we officially begun collecting wishes from supporters and artistes on 19 May, the Motorcross event at *scape. The job was quite tedious, as we had to wait for the supporters to write and yet make sure that MLB was not within distance while this was done. Besides collecting the well wishes from the supporters, we also managed to approach some artistes at the event, eg. Lydia Tan Diya [Project Superstar II], Nathaniel Tan [Project Superstar II], Carrie Yeo [Project Superstar II] and Lin Cui Fang [Superband Host]. Would like to thank these artistes for agreeing to help us in this! :)

The next meeting for the collection of wishes was held on 26 May (Sat), at Raffles City BK.There were quite a number of MLBians who responded to our emails/smses and turned up to contribute their well wishes for MLB. A big thank you to these fans who've made special effort to come down! However, even though many supporters had made their way down to the meeting and so on, there were still some who could not make it for the meet up. Thus, we had to arrange to meet these MLBians during our personal time to obtain the well wishes from them. It wasn't a tough job, we enjoyed meeting these MLBians face to face and knowing who they are. :D

Also, we had to approach some friends of MLB and other artistes to request for them to help us in this project. Great effort was taken by them to hand the wishes over to us, and we will really like to thank them for that. For example, we've got one from Karin in the form of a postcard which was sent over all the way from Queensland. And also from Soul [Awi, Justis and Andy], Wendy, Jasmin and Lingual which was scanned and sent to us via email. The rest were all written at events and so on. Thank You to these people who've helped! :)

Then, i would like to apologise for the simple design of the book. The designing only officially begun in about mid June, and i had to spend many nights scanning, compiling and designing everything while doing my school work. In fact, the design for the cover page was only completed at 4am on the day the book was printed. Was on quite a rushed schedule, thus i could not do more to ask for opinions, and think of better designs. Am really sorry about this, but i sincerely hope that you people out there will like the design of the book.

By the way, if you're wondering about the scanning part... This was because, when we first planned for the book, we hoped that all 3 milos would be able to keep a copy of it. It would be tiring for fans to write 3 separate copies for them, thus we decided to scan it and rearrange it instead. However, I'm really sorry that some of the wishes were too blur to be read in the printed book, as i overlooked the fact that the softcopy and hardcopy would turn out differently. I'm sorry about this! But we've passed the original copies [the written ones] over to MLB, i'm sure they'll read all when they have the time to.

Would like to thank those who've contributed financially towards this project as well. Four of us are still students, therefore have limited amount of money that we could spend towards this project. You guys have been a great help in helping us cover the cost of the book. Thank You! [The names and accounts will be posted in another post.]

Lastly, the team would like to apologise to those who did not know about this project/who didnt get to contribute their wishes for this project. We've tried hard to contact all the MLBians we knew in minimum time, and to spread the message about this project without it getting to MLB. We hope that those who were uninformed will not be offended, we will really like to offer our sincere apologies. And also to those who could not contribute due to time constraints and such, we're really sorry as well. But you can still post your well wishes up on MLB's blog individually, i'm sure they'll read it. Also, hope that the presenting of this gift to MLB will not cause any
unhappiness in anyone... [whatever reason it may be]

Will also like to thank everyone who've helped us in keeping this project a secret from MLB.Your cooperation is gladly appreciated. :D

It has been an enriching experience for me. Working with meikian, peg and mui ling was a pleasure. Through this project, I managed to meet mlbians whom I have never seen before at milubing's gigs or events for the first time. I came to realise that mlb's supporters are not only the regulars on the official blog, but also many silent supporters out there. I truly thank everyone for making an effort to meet us, the team, to get your well wishes written. Thank you! :D

However, we understand that there are some mlbians who did not get to pen their well wishes and we are really sorry about this. Please understand that we really tried our best to inform as many mlbians as we could, we apologise if we have made any of you feel left out.

Ok, I was tasked to tell you guys more about how the design of the book came about. So here it goes. :) Notice that the cover of the book is a 'shadow' of the 3 guys. It signifies the beginning of the music journey of 3 ordinary guys. From Big Jam to a series of Quarter Finals to Revival to Semi Finals and finally entering Grand Finals, MiLu Bing has come thus far to be crowned the champion of Superband. Then, a series of events and gigs before they finally release their debut album on 9 July 2007. As the future is uncertain, we decided to use the word 'mi' on the back on the book. But of course, we wish MiLu Bing all the best in this music journey and may their debut album, Mi Lu Bing, sell like hot cakes! :D

Once again, I thank all who have made this project successful in one way or another. Let us all continue to support the 3 guys' original music yea? Cheerios!

9th July 2007 is a milestone to Milubing's music journey. Finally the MLB family gets to hear their (and our?) very own milo music...

This book consists of blessing from many who loves Milubing - be it supporters or friends. Of course not forgetting the wondeful memories we shared (i.e. the pictures).

Hopefully with our blessings, Milubing will be soaring high up in the sky of music.

But (BUT ONLY HOR :p), in the event of them falling off the tree, all of us shall stand by to catch them =x...
